Salvatore Manzi is an accomplished business coach, consultant and inclusion facilitator bringing 17 years of Organizational and Leadership development to businesses and associations around the United States.
He specializes in managing human capital, creating a culture of diversity & belonging, and personal/inter-personal leadership development. His passion is rooted in creating supportive environments where each individual is empowered to be their best and empowers others to be theirs.
Through relational and experiential trainings, Salvatore facilitates self-awareness, which leads to improved communication and both a collaborative and cohesive team environment. Regularly receiving rave reviews, his monthly “Diversity & Belonging” seminars engage a wide range of leaders seeking to better understand their own multi-faceted cultural influences and cross-cultural engagements.
Salvatore teaches courses in leadership, team building and goal setting, and regularly facilitates his key courses: “Not Another Unconscious Bias Training,” “Relational Corporate Culture,” and, “Inclusion is an Inside Job.” His work has been effective in creating change within international non-profits and local small and corporate businesses.
Salvatore graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s in Business Communications, where he developed his interest in D&I work while serving as the Multicultural spokesperson for Student Affairs. He has lived and worked in 8 countries and provinces as well as culturally traveling through a dozen others.
Salvatore serves as the Inclusion Chair for the Mankind Project, Northern California. In this role, he supports the organization’s development towards a more inclusive environment through leadership trainings and specific Diversity & Inclusion programs.
With a life mission of “co-creating a world of inclusion,” Salvatore passionately serves the LGBTQ community in identifying and releasing self-oppression. Additionally, his work helps others navigate dominant cultures with a “No blame, No shame” approach, allowing each person to accept their own and each other’s cultural upbringing, ultimately leading to the un-learning of exclusionary behaviors and beliefs.
Salvatore firmly believes that deep down, we all long for a sense of belonging, and that we can create that for ourselves, our organizations and our communities.
