Who is responsible

Salvatore Manzi, Inc., doing business as Leadership Communications, runs this website and Clear and Compelling AI. It is the business responsible for your information, which European law calls the “controller.”

What the site collects, and why

Inquiry forms (contact, coaching, speaking, facilitation, in-house cohorts, and the AI coach book claim). What you type is emailed straight to Salvatore’s inbox: your name, email, organization, and the details of your message, event, goal, or book order. The site keeps no copy of the submission itself. Salvatore uses it to reply to you and, if you work together, to plan the engagement.

Email signups (sample chapter, launch team, newsletter, course and AI coach updates). Your name and email go to HubSpot, the email service that sends the chapter and the notes. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and one click ends it. Signing up for one thing does not enroll you in anything else.

Site analytics. Visitors in Europe and the UK see a cookie banner first, and analytics stays off unless they accept. For everyone else, Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. The data is aggregated and is used only to see which pages help people and which do not. It does not include your name or email, and Salvatore never combines it with form submissions or AI coach accounts. Google Tag Manager places the analytics and ad measurement code on the page. It is a Google service for managing site tags, and it collects nothing of its own.

Ad measurement. Salvatore runs Google Ads to help people find the book, the coaching, and the AI coach. When you arrive from one of those ads, a Google Ads tag and a small cookie note that the visit came from an ad, and whether it led to a signup or an inquiry. That shows which ads are worth paying for. Google is told not to use it to personalize the ads you see elsewhere, and the site builds no advertising audiences from your visits. Visitors in Europe and the UK get this only if they accept the cookie banner. Anyone can switch it off with the Cookie settings link.

Embedded video. Some pages play short clips through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, which sets no cookies until you press play. Playing a clip is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Web fonts and hosting. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and is hosted by SiteGround, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time of request) for security and uptime.

Who else sees it

Only HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, YouTube, Google Fonts, and SiteGround, each under its own privacy policy and each only for the purpose above. Links to book retailers, LinkedIn, YouTube, Linktree, and podcast episodes leave this site and follow those sites’ policies.

How long it stays

Inquiry emails stay in Salvatore’s mailbox while the conversation and any engagement are active, then as ordinary business records. Email list entries stay until you unsubscribe or ask for removal. Analytics data is kept for the standard Google Analytics period of 14 months. The ad measurement cookie expires after 90 days.

You are talking with AI

Clear and Compelling AI is an artificial intelligence coach built on Salvatore’s methods. Its replies come from AI models in the moment, and Salvatore does not write them. It can get things wrong, so treat what it offers as material for your own judgment. It gives no legal, medical, financial, or HR advice.

What the coach collects

• Account details. Your name, email, and password when you register. If you claim the book benefit, the code or order details you enter.
• Your conversations. Everything you type or say to the coach, and every reply, is recorded and stored with your account. That record is what lets you come back to past chats.
• Files you upload. Presentations, drafts, and documents you share so the coach can work with them.
• Voice. In voice mode, your speech is converted to text and handled like a typed conversation.
• Memory. The coach can remember context you give it, such as your role, your goals, or a word you want it to avoid, so you never have to repeat yourself. That memory is stored with your account.
• Payment, once paid plans open. The coach is free for now, so no payment details are collected. When paid subscriptions open, Stripe will process payments. Your card details will go straight to Stripe. Salvatore will see your plan and payment status and never your card number.
• Usage. How much you use the coach and when. This keeps the service running and priced fairly.

How it is used

• To coach you. Answering you, remembering your context, and keeping your chat history.
• To improve the coach. Salvatore reads conversations to see where the coach helps and where it misses, then refines its instructions and source material. He is the only person who reviews conversations for this purpose.
• To run your account. Managing your access and sending service emails about it: welcome, your book month, billing once paid plans open, and changes to the service.

What it is never used for

• Salvatore’s work. Your conversations stay out of his books, talks, posts, and client work, in any form, anonymized or otherwise.
• Training AI. Neither Salvatore nor Chipp uses your conversations to train AI models. The AI model providers receive them under business terms that exclude training on customer data.
• Marketing lists. Registering for the coach does not add you to Salvatore’s newsletter. That list stays opt-in.
• Anything new. Any new use of your conversations would need your permission first, and it would never reach back to what you have already shared.

Who handles it

• Chipp (chipp.ai), the platform the coach runs on. Chipp stores accounts, conversations, files, and memory on Google Cloud servers in the United States.
• AI model providers that Chipp uses to write replies, currently including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. They process your messages to produce each response.
• Stripe, which will process subscription payments once paid plans open.
• Implement AI, the firm that built and maintains the coach. It can access the coach’s workspace to fix problems and make updates, under a signed confidentiality agreement with Salvatore.
• Web search. When the coach searches the web to answer a question, the search terms go to a web search service.

Each follows its own privacy policy, and each is used only for the purpose listed.

Keep sensitive details out

The coach works best with the shape of a situation, and it can do all of its work without identifying details. Please leave out health information, financial account numbers, passwords, government ID numbers, and confidential details about clients, patients, or your employer. Roles work well in place of names: “my VP,” “a board member,” “a direct report.”

How long it stays

Conversations, files, and memory stay with your account until you ask for them to be deleted or close your account. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Backup copies on the platform roll off within about five weeks after that. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Age

The coach is for adults 18 and older.

What never happens

• No selling, renting, or trading of your information, to anyone, ever.
• No retargeting, no social media pixels, and no advertising audiences built from your visits. The one advertising tool on the site is the Google Ads measurement described in part one.
• No profiles built from your visits to the website.
• No automated decisions about you that carry legal or similarly significant effects. The coach offers suggestions. You decide.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it.
• See, correct, download, or delete what Salvatore holds about you, from the website or the coach. Email support@salvatoremanzi.com and it happens within 30 days, no questions.
• Decline analytics and ad measurement any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. A browser extension such as Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on works too. The site works the same either way.
• Browser privacy signals. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, the site treats it as a decline. Analytics and ad measurement stay off, with nothing to click.

California residents have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to correct it, to ask for its deletion, and to be treated the same after asking. All are honored through support@salvatoremanzi.com.

In the EU, the UK, and the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your information, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Email support@salvatoremanzi.com to use any of these.

The legal basis, for readers in the EU and UK

• Replying to your inquiry: steps you asked for before any agreement, and a legitimate interest in answering you.
• Emails you signed up for: your consent, withdrawn any time with one click.
• Running the coach and your account: the agreement you enter when you register.
• Reviewing conversations to improve the coach: a legitimate interest in making it work well for you. You can object by emailing support@salvatoremanzi.com.
• Site analytics and ad measurement: your consent, given or withdrawn through the cookie banner and the Cookie settings link.
• Security logs: a legitimate interest in a site that stays secure.
• Billing records: legal obligation.

Where your information lives

Salvatore Manzi, Inc. and every service named on this page operate in the United States. Using the site or the coach from another country means your information is processed in the US. Where the law requires it, those transfers rely on safeguards the providers offer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

The website and the coach are for working adults. Neither knowingly collects information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared information, email support@salvatoremanzi.com and it will be deleted.

Security

Every service named here encrypts information as it travels, and access to the accounts behind them is limited to Salvatore and the providers named above. No online system is perfectly secure, so share with the coach what you would be comfortable putting in an email.

Changes

When this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Anything that expands what is collected or how it is used will be posted here before it takes effect. Registered coach users will also hear about it by email, and will be asked for consent wherever the law requires it.
